Switch to a Carbon Neutral Canberra
Now in its second year, the Switch to Green Conference returns to Canberra to target the global challenge of climate change at a local level, building on the foundations of 2008 and continuing its work towards a carbon neutral ACT.
Taking place on 10 -12 September at the National Convention Centre, Canberra, the Switch to Green Conference will bring together leading representatives from business, government and the community, where you can become engaged in discussion panels, roundtables and seminars on how to take action today.
This year’s Conference program will focus on ‘Carbon Neutral Canberra’ (What this really means and how we can make it a reality), with 4 key themes: increased use of solar energy, improved energy efficiency for Canberra office buildings, retro-fitting Canberra houses for improved energy efficiency and improving and increasing the use of public transport.
The Conference is the perfect opportunity to address the progress Canberra has made in the past 12 months and to introduce the new initiatives needed for successful steps forward.
